Electric Knuckle Claws HLR From Chapter 6

How to get Kora: Rare Blade from random Core Crystal pulls (no special odds stated on the wiki). Can be bonded to Rex, Nia, Zeke or Morag.

Before you start

Story progress
Chapter 6 or later
Both wikis file it under Chapter 6 (after the party arrives in Theosoir). Mythra is required and absent during Chapters 8–9, so the window is Chapters 6–7 or from Chapter 10.
How the quest unlocks
Rest at Anastatia's inn in Theosoir with Kora and Mythra to trigger their argument. Prerequisites per Fandom: the Heart-to-Heart 'Girl Power' completed (located at Blossomshade Cliff, Uraya; Kora's affinity chart says it is triggered by speaking to Kora at the Fonsa Myma inn) AND both Kora's and Mythra's level 5 Key Affinities (Kora's is Trust 9,800). Xeno Series Wiki adds: Nia, Tora, Morag, Zeke, Mythra and Kora in the party.
Field skill checks
  • Girls' Talk — 12 total levels equipped across the party to clear all 11 contest rounds (round N checks Girls' Talk level N+1). Available sources: Kora max Lv 5, Mythra Lv 3, Sheba Lv 3, Praxis Lv 3, Vale Lv 3
Also required
  • Heart-to-Heart 'Girl Power' completed
  • Kora's level 5 Key Affinity (Trust 9,800) AND Mythra's level 5 Key Affinity
  • The contest can only be started between 16:00 and 18:59 in-game time

Walkthrough

  1. Rest at Anastatia's inn in Theosoir with Kora and Mythra to trigger the quest-opening argument about who has more 'girl power'.
  2. Set the in-game clock to between 16:00 and 18:59, equip every Girls' Talk Blade you own (Kora, Mythra, plus Sheba/Praxis/Vale as available — you need 12 total levels), and go to the table at Anastatia's to start the contest.
  3. The contest runs 11 rounds overnight (ending 7:00), each round an escalating Girls' Talk field skill check (round N needs level N+1); which optional Blades appear in rounds 5/7/10 is decided when the contest starts, with Praxis taking priority over Sheba, and Sheba over Vale.
  4. Survive all 11 rounds: the judges declare no winner, and both Kora and Mythra perform the forfeit dance, completing the quest.

Good to know

  • Kora (5) + Mythra (3) only give 8 of the 12 required Girls' Talk levels — you MUST have leveled at least two of Sheba, Praxis or Vale (each caps at 3) or the contest fails partway through. Sheba's Inherited Core Crystal is a 500,000 G purchase in Torigoth (Kassa later rebates 250,000 G) and Praxis/Vale are quest Blades, so this can be a project in itself.
  • Double trust grind: both Kora's AND Mythra's level 5 Key Affinities (9,800 trust for Kora) are prerequisites per the Fandom wiki — pouch-item spam with their favorites speeds this up massively.
  • Mythra must be in the party, so the quest is only doable in Chapters 6–7 or from Chapter 10 — and having Sheba/Praxis/Vale set when the contest starts adds extra scenes (their appearance order is locked in at the start; restarting after a failure will not add Vale to an already-determined lineup).
